Watermelon Merrymint

December 14, 2020

Fresh, bright and summery – this screams Aussie Christmas! Watermelon is one of the most hydrating foods you can eat, so this should take care of you on a hot summer day.

Best of all, if you have a large jug, you won’t have to leave the dining table or poolside – just add a straw! (Or share it with others, we guess).

Ingredients

  • 45ml Death Gin
  • 10ml Simple syrup
  • 30ml Tonic water (we recommend Capi Dry Tonic)
  • 1/2 cup of cold watermelon cubes
  • 4 fresh lime wheels
  • 6 mint leaves slapped

Instructions

In your preferred glass, combine gin, simple syrup, half of your watermelon cubes, 2 lime wheels and 3 mint leaves with lots of ice and gently stir with a cocktail spoon.

Top up with tonic water and use the remainder of your watermelon cubes and mint leaves to garnish.

Note: You can make a whole jug of this… simply quadruple your quantities… but don’t forget to gently stir so that your layers blend well.
