Chilli Red Snapper

September 22, 2020

The Red Snapper is Gin’s answer to a Bloody Mary, but oh so much more classier! Don’t you think? This is where we put the ass in class.

Clearly, it was designed with 10am Sunday morning in mind with a side of leftover pizza and that gentle nudge to the stranger next to you that they can let themselves out (please).

This our take on the Red Snapper, with extra spice as we get jiggy with some Death Gin Chilli.

Ingredients

  • 30ml Death Gin Chilli
  • 120ml tomato juice
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 7 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 pinches celery salt
  • 2 grinds black pepper
  • 1 Lemon wedges
  • Garnish: Lemon, stuffed olive and cayenne pepper (and a celery stick if you fancy)

Instructions

Pour the salt and pepper onto a small plate.

Rub the juicy side of a lemon wedge along the lip of a tall glass, rim the glass with the salt and pepper, and fill the glass with loads of ice.

Add the remaining ingredients (not the garnish) into a shaker with ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into the prepared glass, and garnish with the lemon wedge, stuffed olive, a pinch of cayenne pepper and a celery stalk if you wish.
